Dear She,

I’ve always felt down about my body – my hips were too big, my stomach too chubby, and my arms were too flabby. I always looked around seeing all of these stick thin girls, wishing more than anything that I could be just like them. They always made me feel smaller, like they had the upper hand in this world just because they could fit into size 00 jeans. God forbid you wear a 6 or above! What I learned from this is: that won’t make me any happier because I am still going to have the same personality and same intellect, no matter what I look like. Sure I might feel better about weighing less, but am I really going to change? I think learning to accept your body for what it looks like is an important aspect in having true happiness with your life.

Love, Me
