Dear She,

I want you to be completely happy with yourself, inside and out. I want you to take pride in how awesome you are and to stop seeking the approval of others so routinely. Have your own opinions regardless of what everyone else thinks. Speak loudly without fear of what they will think of you, because what you say matters and hiding behind your silence will forever limit you. People will talk, or they won’t, but either way I want you realize that this is completely out of your control. I don’t want you to look back on your life and wish you said something sooner, or didn’t waste so much time on people who only disappoint you. I want you to know that you deserve to be happy, and that feeling sad sometimes is okay but don’t let it destroy you. Stay optimistic and always fight for what you want, but have the courage to walk away when you are heading down the wrong path. Remember what your passions are and let them guide you and give you the boost you need to take risks. Most of all, I want you to know that confidence comes from within, and in order to let it grow you have to make a conscious effort to accept the things you can’t change and change the things you can’t accept. Keep your standards high and your mind open and the love for yourself can only grow.
