Dear She,

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
I look down and chills of sensation trickle up to reach the corners of my lips.  I run my hands across the smooth surface, supple curves meet solid bone and muscles out-stretched towards all of it–
I am overwhelmed with gratitude.
Thank you feet, my heroes- you’ve dared to step on new grounds, no matter how hard I shook.  Refusing to let me down when wind and cold and wet bare down, you have done nothing but allow me to stand tall.
Thank you legs, swinging seductively, committed to carrying all my weight.  And still some of others.
Thank you chest, braced against so many sucker-punches.  Ribcage and skin as thick as a strange foreign accent meet with death, stripped raw yet still solid, still so hot to light a fire in my belly.
Oh! My beautiful breath! There is nowhere you cannot reach, I soar with you and leave as you leave.  My love fused forever in the atoms with which you mingle.
I gaze at my reflection, searching for myself and I meet her.
Take a good long look at yourself in the mirror–
No, I mean really look.  You will be shocked at what you see, amazed and awed and confused.
We are such odd, beautiful things.
I can hardly believe they’re mine, these glass orbs set in my face- in them a tenuous smile, a frozen lake, a deep sadness and a yearning.  And further yet I finally see me, and I see fire.  Gorgeous, brilliant white flames that lick the edges of my eyelashes with the amusement of knowing some great secret.  The very thought sending adrenaline twitching through my fingertips, ready to discover what that secret is.
I return my gaze to my hands and am moved, so sentimental.  My knees weaken and the hairs on my neck stand up.
My hands. Words escape me.  You are the center of my being.  Clenched with determination. I grasp for things all too large to carry on my own, and will not stop. I create. Electricity laces kisses all around my fingertips, and I feel so much life! I am so alive!
To really discover your body is to bathe yourself in sensation, in beauty, in capability.
I am gorgeous.  Bright as the light of the closest star.
So *filled with beautiful breath*, thank you!

Love me.
